An Empowerment Project program

With the connection between young girls participation in sports and their overall self-esteem, well-being, and future roles in leadership, Run Towards It provides girls’ with an inspiring event that exposes them to strong female mentors, opportunities to build critical life skills, and an appreciation of the power that comes from working together.

Designed for girls ages 10 to 17, Run Towards It events combine:

  • Physical activities and empowerment programming
  • Keynote and workshops
  • See-Her, Be-Her conversations
  • Team-building activities designed to enhance confidence and communication

Programming is led by notable female athletes, coaches, community leaders, and educators, along with college and high school student athletes, providing multi-generational mentorship opportunities.
